About the studio

Why Mushrumpmirami exists

Mushrumpmirami started in 2019 when Lars van der Berg and Meike de Vries wanted a place where bands could play at once without control being across town. Today singers, bands, producers and podcast hosts use the same three rooms — always with an engineer from setup to export.

We are not a label or a plug-in shop: we provide recording, mixing, mastering and editing. Rates are on services; every booking gets a written quote before you pay.

The rooms

Live room — 38 m²

Floor space for drums, bass, guitar and vocals together, up to 6 musicians. Everyone gets a separate headphone mix; a window looks into control.

Vocal booth — 8 m²

Treated booth for vocals, rap, voice-over and podcast voices, with sight to control.

Control — 22 m²

Console, 12 inputs and 2 monitor pairs for critical listening during tracking and mix.

How we work

Book via contact. We reply within 1 working day. Deposit 25%; cancellation is free up to 7 days before start (see terms). Mix and mastering include 2 revision rounds per project by default.

Minimum age 16 for booking on your own; younger participants need written consent from a parent or guardian. Personal data is handled under our privacy policy.

The studio is on Weesperzijde in Amsterdam East. From Amsterdam Amstel station it is about an 8-minute walk along the Amstel. Tram 12 stops nearby; metro lines 51, 53 and 54 serve Amstel. On-street parking is limited; bike racks are right outside the entrance.

Hours: Monday to Friday 10:00–22:00, Saturday 11:00–18:00. Closed Sunday. By appointment only. Questions about access or a tour? Use contact — we cannot receive walk-ins without an appointment.
